Hi everyone,
 
Hopefully by the end of this week we will have a budget to take us through the end of the fiscal year. With that in mind, we wanted to send out this year’s procurement deadlines. Remember that all purchases over the micro-purchase threshold ($3,500 for supplies, $2,500 for services, $2,000 for construction) need to be made by one of our warranted purchasing agents, Dolores Milton or Laura Jones.
 
 
 
END OF YEAR PROCUREMENT DEADLINES – FY2017
 
PURCHASE CARD HOLDERS:
 
August 31, 2017 – Last day for purchase cardholders to make purchase (except PSAs/Secretaries/Admin Staff). Remember to estimate and obligate an amount for shipping and handling if the vendor does not give an amount.
 
September 8, 2017 – Last day for PSAs/Secretaries to make routine purchases with purchase card
 
September 14, 2017 – Deadline for reallocations in USBANK (all items must be reallocated by this date for all purchase cardholders.  No reallocations after this date until Admin sends an email in Oct)
 
September 22, 2017 – Last day for PSAs/Secretaries to make emergency purchases with purchase card (no purchases after this date until Admin sends an email in Oct)
 
 
B.      SUPPLIES, SERVICES, AND EQUIPMENT $3,501 - $24,999:
 
August 18, 2017 – Up to $24,999 on GSA Contract (must have a DUNS # and a GSA Contract # with expiration date)
 
August 18, 2017 – Up to $24,999 on Open Market
 
C.      SUPPLIES, SERVICES, AND EQUIPMENT $25,000 and above:
 
June 1, 2017 – On Open Market
 
August 18, 2017 – On GSA Contract (must have a DUNS # and a GSA Contract # with expiration date)
 
D.      CONSTRUCTION:
 
June 1, 2017 - $2,000 - $24,999
