Installation notes for CAP3 version "VersionDate: 12/21/07"

But note that download file is dated 2005/06/12 and cap3 after unarchiving is dated May 20  2008

Installation

1. $ cd /programinstallers/
2. $ wget -N http://seq.cs.iastate.edu/CAP3/cap3.linux.opteron64.tar
3. $ tar -xvf cap3.linux.opteron64.tar
   

   CAP3/
   CAP3/README
   CAP3/aceform
   CAP3/doc
   CAP3/cap3
   CAP3/formcon

4. Manual installation
   $ cp -puv CAP3/{cap3,formcon} /usr/local/bin/
5. Copy documentation files to local web page
   $ cp -puv CAP3/README web/cap3/README.txt
6. $ cp -puv CAP3/aceform web/cap3/aceform.txt
7. $ cp -puv CAP3/doc web/cap3/doc.txt
8. cleanup
   $ rm CAP3 -rf
